Committee Meeting

Tuesday 20th July, 7:30pm, University Club, Mansfield Road.

Mansfield Road Football Club is the football club of the University Club of the University of Oxford. Mansfield Road has a great tradition of good football and a lively social calendar. Whatever level you want to play at – serious, or just for fun – come and join us!

Note: if you are interested in joining the club then please email Max Burton (maxburton@me.com) to find out about registration etc.You can also come and introduce yourself to training on a Wednesday night (Men), or a Thursday night (Women) or Sunday morning (either gender, see below).

Pre-Season 2010-11

Pre-season training - Here are the key dates:

*Women’s teams*

Thursdays 6:30pm - Women only, all Women’s Teams and any new players interested in joining, attendance expected

- Location: Cherwell school playing fields (grass) off Marston Ferry Road (about OX2 7EG)

Sundays 11am-1pm – this is a mixed session with the men

- Location: Warneford Hospital pitch (grass) (OX3 7XB), off Roosevelt Drive, which is off Warneford Lane, which is at the top of Divinity Road / Morrel Avenue, no 15 bus takes you extremely close, get off just before Valentia Road.

*Men’s Saturday Team*

Mondays 6:45pm – Men’s 1st team, invitation only, Saturday player attendance expected

- Location: Cherwell school playing fields (grass) off Marston Ferry Road (about OX2 7EG)

Wednesdays 6:45pm – Men only, all Men’s Teams and any new players interested in joining, attendance expected

- Location: Warneford Hospital pitch (grasss) (OX3 7XB), off Roosevelt Drive, which is off Warneford Lane, which is at the top of Divinity Road / Morrel Avenue, no 15 bus takes you extremely close, get off just before Valentia Road.

Sundays 11am-1pm – all Men’s teams and all Women’s teams welcome, Sunday player attendance expected

Saturdays 5:00pm (started 12th June) – open to all club members, this is not so much training but just a good fun game. Email Joel Lazarus if you wish to play (spaces limited, joel_lazarus@hotmail.com)

- Location: Iffley astro-turf (Oxford University Sports Centre on Iffley Road, OX4 1EQ, no studs nor mouldies allowed!)
